We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world. **Job Summary** As the **Digital Capabilities Associate/Sr. Assoc/Manager** , you’ll play a key role in digital enablement and platform optimization, implementing new capabilities that drive compelling content and enhance our online presence across both internal and external platforms and audiences. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the Portfolio Management team by advising communicators and content creators on best practices for a variety of digital tools and technologies in an ever-changing digital landscape. You’ll help shape digital communications processes and output, with the goal of extending our reach to both internal and external customers. As a digital channel expert, you’ll stay ahead of trends and platform capabilities, including web, social media, digital advertising, and internal channels. You will regularly evaluate and share actionable insights with the team, contributing to innovative digital content and creative strategies that keep us competitive. Your focus on user experience will ensure our digital channels are not only accessible but also engaging for our core audiences. Collaboration is key! You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors, utilizing your strong communication skills to share knowledge and bring ideas to life. You will help support the Portfolio Management team with the identification and integration of new digital tools and capabilities that help the team move quickly and improve our reach and scale. Additionally, you’ll advise on platform and capability-specific governance, policies, and procedures to ensure that users of our channels remain compliant. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about making an impact in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to grow your career and help shape our digital future. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or media, communications or a related field + 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications or a related field + Demonstrated experience in social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.), web, and/or intranets + Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role. **Ideal Skills and Capabilities** + Strong writing and editing skills: Ability to craft clear and informative content to share with internal and external audiences + Social media strategy: Deep Understanding of all social media platforms and best practices to support the development of compelling and channel-appropriate creative and content and extend our message reach + Web and intranet expertise: Understanding of web and intranet platforms to effectively recommend enhancements for improved user engagement + Analytics and performance measurement: Strong skills in analyzing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns and initiatives, using insights to inform decision-making + Technical proficiency: Expertise with a variety of internal and external digital tools and platforms (e.g. organic and paid social media, content management systems (CMS), Adobe Experience Manager, intranets, analytics tools, etc.) + Trend monitoring and forecasting: Analyze and stay updated on existing and emerging digital communication trends, capabilities, and technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative + Capability mapping: Experience understanding and articulating digital capabilities in actionable ways + User experience optimization: Ensure that all internal and external digital channels provide a seamless and engaging user experience, focusing on accessibility and usability + Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure integrated digital strategies + Speed and efficiency: Ability to produce high-quality work quickly, adapting to fast-paced project timelines and changing requirements + Cultural awareness: Ability to navigate and adapt for global markets, including understanding global digital trends, as needed + Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and develop effective design solutions + Initiative-driven: Proactive and motivated, capable of initiating projects and driving ideas independently **Preferences** + Familiarity with digital marketing and PR strategies, tactics, SEO and content marketing principles + Understanding of on-trend video and photo content for digital channels + Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate creative solutions + Experience with content management systems and publishing platforms + Proficiency in Adobe content and PM software, including Workfront + Experience working in a complex corporate environment + Experience working in a highly regulated industry + Experience working in diverse cultural environments or with international teams **Other Information** This position will report to the Senior Director of Portfolio Management, Global Communications. This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. Some international and domestic travel expected as conditions and business need arise. The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 - $129,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
