Job Description:

The  Associate Specialist performs a variety of regulatory activities related to  finished products, product registration, labelling, claims,  and regulatory databases management to ensure compliance with applicable food and other product-related laws and regulations. Area of scope: Human food and Pet food.

What are we looking for?Education & Professional Qualification// power bi, excel, ppt, IA, formsMinimum: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical area, chemistry, nutrition, food science or biology is preferred. 2  year in regulatory affairs department, highly desirable experience in Central America and Puerto RicoTravel, Will be required, 5%

What will be your key responsibilities?Has responsibility for assuring ingredients, formulas, labelling are in full compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal standards/policies/etc. in assigned countries (Central America and Puerto Rico)Has responsibility for assuring claims are in full compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal standards/policies/etc. in in assigned countries (Central America and Puerto Rico)Responsible for finished product registration in in assigned countries (Central America and Puerto Rico)Assists in activities related to SRA standards:  On pack claims approval process, Regulatory change management, Artwork and Labeling; Product registration and Food contact materialParticipates on project teams, anticipates regulatory issues;Prepares and submits documentation to regulatory agencies and other external bodies required to respond to regulatory inquiries.Performs other regulatory related assignments as needed.
