Associate Specialist
Position: Data Management Specialist System One has partnered with a Tulsa company that is looking for a Data Management Specialist to join their team. This position is crucial for the effective creation and oversight of customer-related data within the company's data management system. Responsibilities will encompass the initiation and closure of customer accounts, managing customer partnerships across various sales divisions, and processing requests for changes to existing accounts. Additionally, you'll be responsible for administering customer-specific pricing. In this role, candidates will engage with customer requests, communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, and make necessary adjustments to customer accounts. Responsibilities will also include involvement in pricing strategies, invoicing processes, product delivery, and overall impact within the organization. You will be expected to comfortably implement changes, audit your work for accuracy, and troubleshoot discrepancies, effectively acting as an extension of management. The ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment is essential. Candidates should be capable of self-management while working from home, comfortable with screen-sharing, asking questions, and fostering communication with team members. Key Responsibilities: + Process requests for creating new customer accounts or editing existing ones in our data management system. + Ensure the creation of new accounts avoids duplicates and that partnerships are set up correctly for customer invoicing. + Follow standard operating procedures to create or modify customer accounts and partnerships. + Identify and resolve issues with customer partnerships that complicate account maintenance. + Process price change requests from internal stakeholders. + Conduct post-load price audits to confirm data accuracy. + Investigate and resolve pricing disputes, issuing necessary customer credit or debit memos. + Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders. + Serve as a backup for assigned partners, and complete other tasks as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. + High school diploma is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. + A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is preferred. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Attention to detail and excellent research and retention skills are necessary. + Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple projects to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + A positive attitude is crucial, with an ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment. + Previous experience in data management and systems data entry is advantageous. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
