Job Description
Marketing Procurement manages all sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management activities for the Abercrombie & Fitch Marketing organization. We are looking for a naturally curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills who successfully demonstrates flexibility and agility in a fast-paced and dynamic, digitally led environment. A person in this role must also be a relationship builder and be able to team up with others, as there are high levels of coordination required between business partners, stakeholders, and key strategic suppliers. This person plays a key role in the success of our ongoing Marketing transformation, supporting the teams with supplier selection, contracting, and supplier relationship management for our transportation, distribution, and trade compliance teams. They will be responsible for building strong cross functional partner relationships supporting each area to achieve their strategic goals. The Procurement Specialist job function lies within the Marketing Procurement team, which is based at the A&F Home Office in New Albany, OH.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Build & nurture cross functional partnerships with business areas to understand their requirements, including the following: category, supplier base, and market forces Team Up with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit along with the business partners impacted by sourcing decisionsHelp facilitate the supplier selection process through RFI, RFP, and other techniques in order to effectively: help ensure suppliers meet all internal and external compliance requirements, facilitate supplier risk management reviews, and source best in class vendors who share our values of inclusion and diversity, sustainability, and social responsibilityMaintain and enhance vendor relationships via a robust, A&F-specific Supplier Relationship Program (includes scorecards, SLAs & KPIs); in order to ensure proper planning & performance, you will lead Business & Roadmap reviews with strategic vendorsExtensive contract management responsibilities, including the following:Work cross functionally to enable adoption of contract best practicesFacilitate legal and functional contract reviews/approvalsExecute favorable contracts for A&FEstablish clarity/understanding by both business owners & suppliersManage renewals, amendments & terminations3rd Party contract administration, which includes proper setup & maintenance of vendor profiles, along with organization of contracts & related documentationWhat Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in procurement or related experienceMarketing and technology experience a plusAbility to execute tasks and meet critical deadlines in a thorough, poised, accurate, and timely manner, while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and often-changing environmentHigh level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through, coupled with the flexibility to shift requirements and expectations, due to ever-changing needs of the businessA collaborative approach to work; builds strong partnerships with business partnersSelf-motivated, self-starting, and creative thinker; shows resiliency in problem-solvingAbility to adapt and work in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partnersStrong negotiation skillsDesire to learn & hunger for more!Technology:Microsoft Office – MS Excel, PowerPointPeoplesoft, iValue, DocuSign experience a plusOur Company
