Associate Software Engineer


       The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for developing and contributing to cutting edge, innovative solutions with the latest and greatest technology to revolutionize our industry.

What You’ll be Doing:

 

Develop software according to requirements and quality standards as well as demonstrate successful completion of tasks within defined timeframes. Demonstrate core competency in programming fundamentals and best practices such as SOLID, Object-Oriented design principles, DRY, and Domain Driven Design. Learn and adapt to programming patterns and standards. Build and maintain high performing, reusable, and reliable code. Participate in all phases of SDLC including design, development, testing, documentation, and support. Collaborate with business analysts to develop solutions that meet specific business objectives. Understand business requirements, designs, and wireframes with the ability to refine and implement technical requirements into high quality code. Work directly with QA Analysts and Engineers to ensure proper tests are designed to meet acceptance criteria to produce high quality products. Support, troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Be a strong problem solver and possess an excellent work ethic and attitude. Collaborate, share, and learn from team members, and actively follow all team processes. Function as an excellent team player that can make significant contributions individually as well as a part of the team. Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills. Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Other duties as assigned.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Experience with Visual Studio, GIT and Azure DevOps 2+ years of application development experience or equivalent skills across the following technologies; requirements may vary within based on backend, frontend or full stack focus: Net Framework/Core Angular C# JSON SCSS/SASS SQL Test Driven Development/Unit Testing Typescript, ES6 Web API/Rest

 

Bonus Points:

 

Working knowledge or experience with any of the following technologies: Agile Methodology Asynchronous Programming Azure Data Bricks Azure Data Factory Azure Functions Azure Logic Apps Azure PAAS Browser Compatibility Testing Cosmos DB CQRS Pattern Dependency Injection Entity Framework & LINQ MicroServices OData Python

 

Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.
