We are seeking a talented and motivated entry-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be part of a team that is working on the backend logic of the Pega Blueprint SaaS offering. This is a high visibility individual contributor (IC) role that demands a solid technical foundation and a proactive attitude, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up like environment.

What You'll Do at Pega: You will act as a team member developing the Pega Blueprint SaaS applicationFrequently deploy changes to production to ensure product is up to dateContinuously help and support our product team while operating the Pega Blueprint production serviceQuickly adapt to changing priorities based on customer feedback, thinking on your feet to solve complex problems and speed bumps in the products lifecycleWho You Are:

You are a graduating student well-versed in Java with a penchant for data science and data analytics. You have theoretical and project experience applying these principles; and are looking to apply this knowledge to solve complex and challenging real-world problems – e.g. How does a company with 10 million customers project in real-time the reach for a new product they are about to launch?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s degree preferred)Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principlesJava development experience via projects, internships, class work, etc.Course or project experience in data science and data analyticsAgile development methodology experience/knowledgeAbility to learn new skills quickly and apply them to solving challenging problems
