Job Description

***Position is Full-Time, First Shift, 8am-5pm either Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday.***

 

Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateApplies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility  Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaborationProactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivityMeets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaborationPerforms laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precisionPerform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errorsUnderstand and perform calculations as required by test methodsUnderstand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparationRead and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP'sUse MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook emailProcess data, generate reports, and evaluate dataCommunicate effectively, both orally and in writingPerform laboratory maintenance and ensures good housekeeping with a neat, clean and orderly workspaceCommitment to occasional overtime as workload requires

Qualifications

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, 8am-5pm either Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday. Training will be first shift M-F. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. This position is NOT remote.
