Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Tarrytown, NY
Schedule / Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, Onsite
Type: Contract
Compensation: $38 - $45 hourly

Responsibilities Conducting basic laboratory work including pipetting, culturing, and qPCR Working with automated systems including robotic liquid handlers Working with a LIMS database Maintaining the laboratory and laboratory equipment as needed Analyzing experimental data and assessing quality Nucleic Acid isolation and purification Sanger DNA Sequencing, Cloning, Gene Expression and Genotyping Contribute to technology development by conducting experiments, leading to process improvements Requirements BS / MS in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry or a related field  0 - 2+ years of relevant research experience Must have hands-on experience with various molecular biology techniques including qPCR, molecular cloning, etc.  Experience with liquid handlers is strongly preferred Must have extensive hands-on experience working with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to analyze data and can provide input on next steps System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
