This Position reports to:

R&D Unit Lead

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cybersecurity policies and standards. Each day, you will assist Test Engineers with product and system testing. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing standard test records and completing test documentation.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the R&D function of the Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Business Line in Spain. Main stakeholders are the Manufacturing Sites and R&D clusters located in Italy, Germany and Switzerland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Maintaining test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements.Supporting risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions.Utilizing standardized processes and tools and maintaining/calibrating them.Assisting in carrying out tests and inspections at suppliers’ premises to meet contractual obligations

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in electrical testing and the electrical distribution and protection marketPossess an enhanced knowledge of data analysis and elaboration of technical reportsYou are passionate about working in an international groupYou hold a Degree in Physics or Electrical / Electronic EngineeringYou are at ease communicating in Spanish and English.You hold current working permit in the EU
