The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Quality Production Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Heath, OH!
Position Responsibilities:
Observes validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
Learns Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations.
Gathers data and participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans, products or processes.
Gain knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
Learns the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.
Observes and seeks advice on obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.
Assists in the validation of configuration management and learns quality procedures and material review policies.
Performs internal replication of software to Company and regulatory standards and procedures.
Participates in audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
Assists in the creation of basic reports and assists coordination with the responsible parties for internal and external distribution.
Works under close supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
1+ year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
1+ year of experience working Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate’s Degree or higher
More than 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
Experience with regulatory requirements
Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
Travel:
This position may require up to 10% travel.
