Work Location: Work location: Columbus, GA (customer site).  Base/Reporting Location: Windsor, CT.     

Shift/FLSA Status: 1st shift M-F.  Hourly, Full Time 40+/wk

Work Experience: Minimum 7+ years relevant to role and 2-year tech degree OR 10+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree.   Candidates with substantially more prior experience and responsibilities may fit under related progression roles – and are welcome to apply.

Industry: Aero-Engine (i.e.  gas turbine / turbomachinery)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained.  Your efforts support/enable the work of others.  Initial work will focus on processing / monitoring Non-Conforming material through its regulated evaluation process and acting to ensure that work is done Right-First-Time as well as within prioritized/communicated/tracked timelines.Comfortable interacting w/ multiple computer systems / software  Have an aptitude for process-oriented work along with a mindset for doing things right, a desire to see things through, an eye for continuous improvement.  A history of doing so successfully in a customer facing, service-oriented, environment.Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, PeersAssist w/ new hire training / mentoring of like rolesAssist w/ review of other’s workMaintain Integrity & Ethics in all situations Generate Continuous Improvement ideas to reduce Waste and Cost of Poor QualityHelp Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes:

Relevant experience in:  Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).Read Engineering prints and comprehend associated Quality RequirementsEntering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred)Advanced tracking of work through a process, spotting/resolving workflow issues (electronic based workflow experience noteworthy).Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – regular and proficient user (ability to write/use macros, pivot tables, VB Coding – noteworthy)Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized - with ability to focus on multiple reoccurring tasks

Desired Skills / Attributes:

Knowledge of gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MROGaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, Inspection Planning, SPC, Gage R&R, etc.)Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
