POSITION: Associate Quality Engineer – Aero Part Qualification

What You will Do:
Work within a cross-functional team to review First Article Inspection [FAI] AS9102 Form 2 received from customer manufacturing suppliers and verify for completenessVerify raw materials, parts, and processes meet metallurgical and chemical technical requirementsEnsure objective evidence of conformance is applicable and validConfirm package is compliant with the aerospace industry and customer specific standardsProvide weekly report outs to Project / Team Leader on project milestone completion progressWork Experience
What You Will Bring:
2-5 years of direct experience within Aerospace & Defense Industry performing Part Qualification / Quality Engineering work with 2 year degree in a technical discipline OR 6+ years of direct experience w/ no degreeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBeginner level competency in MS Office ToolsExperience operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments [AS13100, AS9100, AS9102], particularly First Article Inspections a plusFamiliarity with blueprint reading / geometric dimensioning & tolerancing a plusExperience working within and extracting data from an ERP / MRP system a plusPay Range: $26 - $32 hourly rate

Work Requirements:
This position is classified as Remote within the United States.
Initial onboarding and process training to be completed in Quest Global Office in Windsor, CT until proficient to perform work independently.
Travel requirements: Not Anticipated. 0-5% of travel may be requested depending on business need.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
