Associate QHSES Assurance Specialist
**Job Overview** In this role, the Associate QHSES Assurance Specialist applies established QHSES procedures to support compliance, assurance, and risk mitigation activities. The position involves assisting in audits, inspections, and data analysis, while also supporting the use and administration of digital QHSES platforms (e.g., Intelex or equivalent). Working under the guidance of senior specialists, the role contributes to the resolution of routine assurance issues, implementation of corrective actions, and the preparation of QHSES performance reports. This position is critical to enhancing risk visibility, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Apply QHSES procedures to support compliance, assurance, and risk mitigation efforts. + Perform routine QHSES system reliability training for end users as a Super Administrator. + Monitor QHSES enterprise systems for effectiveness and assist in resolving standard issues. + Support project teams with system implementation, metrics tracking, and reporting. + Assist in internal and external audits, inspections, and post-audit actions. + Review application specifications to ensure alignment with product and system requirements. + Gather user input to ensure documentation and procedures reflect current system functionality. + Assist in the migration and integration of legacy data into current QHSES systems. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date project profiles and related records. + Contribute to the preparation and analysis of monthly QHSES KPI reports and dashboards for leadership. + Promote QHSES awareness and deliver training sessions across departments. + Participate in the review, development, and timely publication of QHSES procedures and documentation in systems like Unifi. + Prioritize tasks effectively by interpreting user needs and aligning with organizational goals. **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (preferred). + Awareness or certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 (IRCA certification preferred). + Current Lead Auditor qualification is a plus. + 3 years of experience in QHSES roles, preferably in the oil and gas, energy, or EPC sectors. + Internship or academic project experience in assurance, compliance, or safety systems is advantageous. + Experience with QHSES system administration, including data imports and backend modifications. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. + Ability to work collaboratively under guidance and independently when required. + Outstanding customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital collaboration tools. + Familiarity with digital QHSES platforms and reporting systems. \#LI-LJ1 \#LI-Hybrid Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
