In this role, you'll contribute to test automation initiatives, focusing on **API testing** , and work closely with development and QA teams to build seamless and efficient testing processes. **Responsibilities** **Your Impact** + Design, develop, and maintain **automated test scripts** for APIs and web applications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases. + Execute automated tests, track defects, and support root cause analysis to ensure timely resolution. + Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and adapt them to evolving project needs. + Support the integration of automated tests within **CI/CD pipelines** to enable continuous testing. + Contribute to test plans, documentation, and reporting of automation results and quality metrics. + Stay current with emerging trends in test automation, tools, and best practices. **Qualifications** **Your Skills and Experience** + **2+ years** of experience in automation testing with hands-on scripting skills. + Proficient in **Java or JavaScript** , and using tools like **Selenium** and **Cucumber** for automation. + Experience with **API testing** using tools such as **Postman** , **Rest Assured** , or **SoapUI** . + Familiarity with **API performance testing** tools like **JMeter** or **LoadRunner** (preferred but not required). + Basic understanding of **DevOps practices** and exposure to **CI/CD tools** (e.g., Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps). + Experience working in **Agile development** environments and participating in sprint testing cycles. + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for learning and growing in QA automation. + Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments. **Set Yourself Apart With:** + Exposure to **cloud platforms** such as **AWS** , **Azure** , or **GCP** . + Knowledge of **mobile test automation** or cross-browser testing tools. + Familiarity with version control systems like **Git** and test reporting tools like **Allure** or **Extent Reports** . **Additional information** **Wha you'll get** + Full time/ Indefinite term contract + Remote work environment + Local Holidays and extra PTO + Private medical insurance + Connectivity bonus + E-Learning platforms (Udemy, Marcel, LinkedIn Learning) + English lessons and so much more!! ***Candidates must be based in Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.***
