Associate QA Software Test Engineer

 

Job Summary:

 As an Associate QA Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Quoting software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing functional test scripts to verify the functionality of our applications. Your expertise in functional testing, automated testing, and best practices will contribute to our overall testing strategy, enabling us to deliver top-notch software to our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities 

• The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will support the quality activities throughout the sof tware development life cycle. The Automation Engineer will be a team player who communicate and collaborate well with others and will be part of a QA team responsible for verifying and ensuring the health, stability and overall quality of dif ferent applications

• Develop/modify and maintain automation Frameworks

• Integrate test automation into CI/CD process, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as Kiwi TCMC, Jira

• Develop, review, maintain, and execute test environments, test plans, test data etc.

• Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards

• Coordinate and/or consult with SQA team on how to test various system features and interfaces.

• Accurately report testing results and progress at appropriate intervals as established by the SQA Manager

• Design and implement Load and Stress tests using JMeter 

 

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering

 

EXPERIENCE 

• 2+ years professional experience as a QA Analyst

• 1+ years with automation f ramework in Java Selenium and Cucumber 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, TestNG, Extent Reports

• Testing experience in Smart GWT platform and AWS Cloud services

• Experience with GitLab and AWS Elastic Beanstalk

• Familiar with AWS cloud-based selenium Frameworks, parallel execution, preferably LambdaTest, AWS DeviceFarm

• Familiar with AI Automation, DataDog monitoring and JMeter tool
