The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Project Associate Technician to join our projects team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. The Project Associate Technician provides beginner level, on-site technical support, for customer/company network systems. In addition, they will support non-routine installation and/or maintenance assignments, with focus on cable management, IT systems tests, locates, repairs, and troubleshooting of network equipment problems.



Responsibilities:

• Assist with IT project installations and perform system test procedures.
• Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of issues that cannot be solved remotely.
• Perform smaller scale moves, adds, or changes of clients' equipment as needed.
• Prepare for on-site installations by reviewing site requirements.
• Obtain software and review relevant documentation prior to visiting customer sites.
• Assist with staging the installation and upgrades in a lab environment prior to the site visit when necessary.
• Direct Customer/End-User interaction for IT Refresh projects (Laptops, Desktops, Network Equipment)
• Perform implementation of software and hardware solutions; integrating with the customer's network and equipment.


Qualifications:

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Background in WIN 11 support, systems analysis, network or software design/administration, requirements analysis, or systems/applications software development
• Familiar with MS Teams, , cable management (LAN room and at the desk)
• Active SECRET clearance preferred
• Ability to obtain a DHS HQ EOD
• Ability to travel locally within National Capital Region
• Ability to travel long distance (within continental United States) up to 15%


Desired:
 

• Previous DHS or DoD experience
• The following certifications is highly desired:
• Microsoft Windows
• COMPTIA A+, or Network+, or Security+
• Cisco
• ITILv4 Foundation

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,600 - $122,100
