The team sells and delivers world-class events, technology and implementation services and is responsible for building relationships at executive and senior level with HQs and local affiliates in the assigned geography. To address the increasing demand from our clients, we are currently looking for… Associate Project Manager - Strategic Meetings and Events, EMEA Job Overview Manage the operational aspects of M&E projects and programs. Will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with SOPs, policies, and practices. This position is home based with collaboration with the global team at IQVIA and with clients and healthcare professionals. This position will require international travel. Main accountabilities • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies and procedures and meets project timeline metrics. • Create, track and report on project progress and timelines. • Produce and distribute status, tracking, financial reports and presentation materials for internal and external team members and senior management. • Manage project budgets and approval of invoices. • Responsibility for financial reporting on the project including tracking deliverables and invoicing. • May participate in proposal development and sales/proposal presentations, providing input into project proposals and RFPs. • Monitor and coordinate efforts of cross-functional project teams and project resources within and outside the organization. • Facilitate F2F, Hybrid and Virtual meetings and events for clients in different locations leveraging a variety of platforms. • Meet with team members on a regular basis regarding project tasks to ensure project milestones are met. • Self-starter, able to project manage meetings & events end to end with minimal to zero guidance. • Lead problem solving and resolution efforts. • Train and mentor junior Project Manager staff • Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement process improvements. • Prepare and present project information at internal and external meetings. Qualifications • 6-8 years of experience in running meetings & events for the Life Sciences industry is highly preferred. Experience in similar fields such as scientific content management or training courses design and delivery is also welcome. • Able to manage relationships between different groups of stakeholders. Previous experience with managing HCPs or faculty members in general is an advantage. • Experience with managing any virtual meetings or events platforms (Cvent, Webinar.Net, Zoom, MS Teams, ON24 or similar) • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications. • Proven fluency in English and at least in one of the following languages: French, Spanish, German. Being a native speaker will be an advantage. All other European languages are also of interest. • Able to work in a flexible way outside office hours to deliver projects as necessary. • Strong project management skills: demonstrated ability to complete projects and deliver high-quality results according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. • Data accuracy and attention to details • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients. • Customer oriented and result driven: stay focused despite adversity, being resilient to pressure and demonstrating a “make it happen” mentality is essential to succeed in the role. • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal direction. • Teamworking: maintaining positive and collaborative attitude towards team members and contributing to creating strong team spirit.
