Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join our Energy Studio. This individual will play a key role in delivering solar land development projects from concept through construction, working alongside a collaborative team of civil engineers and technical managers.
ResponsibilitiesManage or assist in managing utility-scale solar, battery storage, and energy-related land development projects through all phases: planning, design, permitting, and construction.Coordinate internal project team and act as the point of contact for external stakeholders including clients, consultants, and permitting agencies.Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables with support from Technical Managers and leadership.Delegate and assign tasks to team members based on expertise and project needs.Ensure technical accuracy and QA/QC on grading, drainage, utility, and site layout designs.Support or lead client communication, progress meetings, and proposal efforts.Work closely with senior staff to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.Essential Skills3 to 6 years of experience in civil land development, with 2 years or more in solar/energy.Experience in utility-scale solar and/or civil land development.EIT certification required with the expectation to obtain PE in the near future.Proven project management experience or strong potential to grow into the project management track.Project leadership and delegation skills.Technical proficiency in hydrology, grading, site layout, utility design, and permitting.Proven ability to lead design teams and manage projects independently.Demonstrated success in client management and proposal development.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, Flo2D, or similar tools.Strong understanding of grading and drainage design for utility-scale solar sites.Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and survey documents.Familiarity with CEQA, NEPA, or other permitting processes (a plus).Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
