As the Associate Project Manager, you will ensure R&D projects are completed on time/cost & budget. You will support cutting edge medical device products from the inception phase to launch for Stryker’s Digital Robotics and Enabling Technologies business unit.

What you will do:
Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Aligning business objectives with project execution.
Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams, support work break-down.
Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a project and or sub-project timeline.
Collaborate with supervisor and/or Project Manager to establish project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
Partner with functional teams to establish project plans. Monitor and maintain plans.
Create a risk register and management plan with supervision. . Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan.
Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.
Develop a project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Assist with defining the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews.
Create a Stakeholder register for the project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.
Support the development of a project communications management plan.
What You Need:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or related function
Minimum 1 year work, academic, or other experience creating project timelines and budgets, leading cross-functional projects, or allocating/estimating resources across teams
