Position Responsibilities:
Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changesPerforms routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty componentsPerforms validation/verification testing of systems and componentsInspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of componentsFabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specificationsPerforms tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations)Works under general supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years’ experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and procedures1+ years’ experience reading and understanding basic engineering drawings and specificationsExperience in the use and operation of dimensional measurements equipmentThe ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds within an 8 hour shiftBasic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years’ experience in electro-mechanical assembly and functionsAssociates degree in electronics, science or in a general technical fieldExperience with instrumentation calibration and useDrug Free Workplace:
