**Job Description**
If you are **PROCUREMENT** professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our ST. LOUIS, MO location, you will be a key part of the procurement department. Your primary responsibility will be work closely with procurement and cross-functional teams, to coordinate information to procurement, develop and maintain new reports, and process purchased orders. The Associate Procurement Program Manager NPD will report directly to the Procurement Manager NPD and maintain a very close working relationship with Copeland Corporate and Business Group Supply Chain personnel for respective categories.
**As An** **Associate Procurement Program Manager NPD** **, You Will:**
+ Orders materials and supplies efficiently for prototype builds required to support product development projects, along with ensuring said materials and supplies are ordered accurately and arrive in a timely manner prior to scheduled installation
+ Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to coordinate and manage updates with the procurement department
+ Monitor status and expedite completion of various activities to assure that the Procurement and Supply organization is supporting projecting timing, material cost objectives and Gate Review deliverables
+ Provide accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle to procurement management and cross-functional management teams
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, or Science field or equivalent experience
+ 2 years experience in tactical sourcing/procurement
+ Strong purchase order lifecycle skills, price/cost analysis, and logistics process
+ Proactively identifies, analyzes, addresses, and resolves problem areas, conflicts, and issues
+ Proven communication and organizational skills enabling teamwork and consensus-building
+ Experience in supporting cross functional teams
+ Able to travel around 10% at a time
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS**
+ Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
+ Experience with innovation projects for electronics, project commercialization, stage gate methodology and business execution projects
+ Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
+ Strong capabilities in the use of MS-Excel, ERP Systems, MS-Work, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Project applications
+ Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (many suppliers and team members are in Mexico and the U.S., so bilingual ability is helpful for communication)
**Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:**
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
