Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to support the Supply Chain Proprietary Team in Albuquerque, NM!
The Associate Agent will assist in creating and manage major supplier purchase contracts in support of BDS Programs. Candidates should have experience with the entire procurement life cycle to include developing Supplier Buy to Packages, Requests for Proposal, evaluating bids, creating and issuance of Purchase Contracts, and pre/post award contract administration through closeout.
The successful Agent would assisting in managing multiple subcontracts expeditiously, while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. Additional responsibilities could include issuance and administration of Teaming Agreements, Proprietary Information Agreements, New Business and Proposal Support.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities (Associate – 2)
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
Experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Experience in analyzing supply chain data
Experience communicating and presenting information
Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals
Experience participating in the acquisition process for both international and U.S. defense equipment, including the planning, budgeting, and procurement of defense material
Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Summary pay range: $60,350 - $74,550
