Associate Principal Scientist, Ligand Binding Assays
We are seeking an **Associate Principal Scientist, Ligand Binding Assays** to join IQVIA Laboratories in **Indianapolis, IN** . As an Associate Principal Scientist, you will provide technical leadership across global laboratory operations, driving innovation, harmonization, and continuous improvement in ligand binding assay development and execution. **What you’ll be doing:** + Leading cross-functional laboratory initiatives to improve operational efficiency and harmonize global processes. + Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex ligand binding assay challenges. + Overseeing method transfers between global and cross-functional laboratories. + Serving as the primary technical contact in client discussions and project planning. + Driving instrumentation evaluation and implementation, including cost and performance analysis. + Leading CAPA investigations and ensuring timely resolution and documentation. + Supporting training and development initiatives for laboratory staff. + Contributing to SOP development, regulatory compliance, and technical report writing. **What we are looking for:** + Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology. + Minimum of 8 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment. + Demonstrated expertise in ligand binding assay techniques and instrumentation. + Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. **The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:** + Expertise in ligand binding assay techniques. + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to interpret complex data. + Proficiency in scientific documentation, SOP development, and regulatory compliance. + Experience with LEAN Six Sigma principles and cross-functional collaboration. + Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. **What we offer you:** We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.
