What the day will look like Project Management Assist in the execution of people initiatives aligned with the business, including but not limited to: Leadership capabilities development Performance & Reward Management Talent Review, High potential development / retention & Strategic resource planning Engagement Analysis and Planning Large scale organisation transformation & M&A integration activities Champion our Inclusion and Diversity agenda Colleague Wellness Stakeholder Management Develop trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues of allocated portfolio Mentor and counsel business leaders and provide change consulting and support people related communications needs Build a cohesive and effective partnership with centre of excellence teams to ensure excellent service delivery for colleagues Collaborate With COEs Collaborate with key points of contact within COEs to define requirements and provide feedback on the effectiveness of policies, programs, and processes Support delivery of culture, change & leadership development programs in region Support the execution of annual cycle activities (e.g., annual cycle, comp and talent reviews, signature programs), using solutions, and tools provided by COEs Act in partnership for more sophisticated ER issues and/or lead investigations on a situational basis, upon request of global/regional PO leadership Technical Skills & Knowledge Required Able to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation, and to consult, influence and partner with leaders in developing/implementing people strategies to drive business performance Proven track record of working in a sophisticated environment ensuring that key stakeholders often with conflicting priorities are heard and supported Creative and adept at problem solving, with an appreciation of diverse cultures and regions. The People Associate role supports the Lead People Partners in implementing global and regional people strategies within the Asia Pacific region. This role aims to create a consistent colleague experience across the region and within Aon Models a “one-firm” approach at all times. Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field highly regarded. 4+ years of experience in Human Resources as a generalist (ideally in a consulting role) can remove the consulting reference. Excellent knowledge of employment law. Independent, proactive and customer focused. Excellent stakeholder management skills Proven communication skills (verbal and written) Commitment to ongoing learning High analytical and conceptual thinking skills Independent, proactive and customer focused.
