Associate Partner Account Manager
Role Summary:
The Associate Partner Account Manager is a key enablement role focused on enhancing the partner experience and streamlining internal sales operations. This role serves as the first-line operations escalation contact for AMER direct channel partners and distributors, working closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs), Distribution PAMs (D-PAMs), and cross-functional teams. The Associate Partner Account Manager ensures seamless onboarding, post-sale support, quoting assistance, and campaign execution, ultimately making it easier for partners to do business with Ribbon. In Plano, TX office 5 days a week.

1. Post-Sale & Operational Support
Act as the primary contact for partner-related issues post-order placement.Address invoice-related concerns and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.Manage daily inquiries regarding order status, product availability (SKUs, lead times), and invoices.Coordinate ad hoc RMA and quarterly stock rotation requests, including eligibility checks, RMA issuance, logistics coordination, and credit memo processing.Escalate urgent service-related requests to the appropriate internal teams.2. Partner Onboarding & Portal Support
Ensure partners have access to the partner portal and correct email registration.Provide walkthroughs on:Completing trainingDeal registrationNavigating and using the portalOffer hands-on onboarding support, in collaboration with team members3. Inbound Opportunity Management
Serve as the point of contact for partner inquiries during events (e.g., webinars).Demonstrate deep knowledge of partner programs and the partner portal.Guide partners to appropriate resources and internal contacts.4. Partner Engagement & Campaign Support
Support partner expansion initiatives, including:Recruiting webinar attendeesAppointment-setting campaignsDistributing marketing materialsAssist Partner Account Managers with personalized outreach and post-event follow-ups.Collaborate with marketing to submit and track BDF/MDF requests and quarterly payments.5. Order & Quoting Assistance
Support order consolidation and retrieval tasks not handled by order management.Coordinate with Sales Engineers for quote requests.(Future Scope) Assist with quoting tasks outside the scope of distribution.6. Channel Program & Forecast Management
Contribute to channel program rollouts (e.g., deal registration, trade-in programs, marketing incentives).Track rebates and credit memos.Reconcile weekly POS/inventory reports from stocking distributors.Update Salesforce forecasts by decrementing received PO values weekly.7. Training & Certification Tracking
Notify partners of upcoming expirations for technical/sales certifications.Coordinate training sessions and distribute certification vouchers.Key Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skillsExperience with Salesforce (SFDC), partner portals, and CRM toolsFamiliarity with channel sales operations and partner programsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionallyProactive problem-solving and escalation managementPlease Note:
