About the role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Paralegal to join our in-house legal team at a growing software company specializing industry-specific Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) solutions. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative. The successful candidate will support commercial contracting processes, assist with legal operations that underpin our software solutions and interact with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, product, and senior management, to help ensure the company's legal needs are met efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilites: Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of commercial contracts, including: SaaS agreements Software license and services agreements Vendor contracts Nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) Support attorneys during contract negotiations by revising and redlining agreements as instructed. Track and maintain the contract lifecycle using contract management tools, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance. Manage document execution via e-signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign), and ensure proper filing and retention. Help maintain and update legal templates, clause libraries, and internal process documents. Assist outside counsel with certain litigation matters Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, procurement, finance, and product teams) to gather necessary information and resolve contract-related inquiries. Conduct legal and factual research, as needed. About you We are seeking a highly motivated, proficient and detail-oriented individual to join our growing legal team. This role typically requires 2-3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience. To be ahead of the pack, you might have: 2–3 years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on commercial contracts. Experience with software contracts is strongly preferred. Familiarity with reviewing and revising contracts is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and collaborate professionally with colleagues at all levels, including senior management. Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information. Preferred Skills: Experience with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad, ContractSafe, DocuSign CLM). Familiarity with data privacy and security terms (e.g., DPA, GDPR). Prior experience in an in-house legal department for a software or ERP provider. What’s in it for you?
