Conagra Brands – Menomonie, WI, home to products like Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa and Swiss Miss/Snack Pack Pudding & Gels, is currently hiring for the position of Associate Material Planner.
You'll report directly to the Supply Chain Manager, supporting the planning and procurement of packaging, raw materials, and other essential goods and services from approved vendors. Your work will ensure understanding of our quality standards and delivery timelines.

You Will:

Collaborate with Production, QA, R&D, and Marketing to ensure packaging and raw materials meet quality standards and support new product development.Partner with the Supply Planner to maintain inventory levels aligned with production schedules and working capital targets.Oversee packaging material orders and supplier inventory to ensure uninterrupted supply.Coordinate with our teams and suppliers to develop and approve new packaging items.Review purchased materials with QA to verify quality and compliance with specifications.Monitor market trends and pricing, reporting potential impacts and service risks to management.Address supplier performance issues, documenting root causes and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Resolve supply and service challenges to maintain smooth operations across departments.Participate in plant safety, quality, and operational programs.Maintain cross-functional purchasing knowledge and provide backup support.Help with planning and execution of physical inventories.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent.Proficiency in reading and interpreting data, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and production reports.Strong math skills: able to perform calculations involving rates, ratios, and basic operations; able to interpret graphs.Excellent verbal and written skills; able to present information and respond to inquiries.Experience with writing reports, organizing data, and maintaining accurate records.Ability to interpret instructions in multiple formats (written, oral, diagrams, and schedules).

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
