**JOB TITLE:** Associate Marketing Communications Manager, MEA **DEPARTMENT:** Marketing **REPORTING TO:** Head of Marketing MEA **LOCATION:** Cairo, Egypt – Hybrid **ADDITIONAL INFO:** Travel is required to attend company events, functions, and shows as planned. This travel estimated at 30%. These events will be across the region of Middle East Africa. The Associate Marketing Communications Manager will be required to support events and teams in all territories within MEA. Global travel expected at least once per annum to attend global summits. **PURPOSE OF POSITION** The Associate Marketing Communications Manager, MEA will be the custodian of the company’s brands and customer touch points. As the primary brand ambassador and champion throughout the Middle East and Africa, the candidate will set the example for customer service excellence and will always hold the brand up high. He/she will drive the successful execution of the digital, inbound and outbound marketing strategies to a successful conclusion and will set the example on how to treat, use and communicate around the brands. The Marketing collateral and value selling material must enable the sales force to be effective and have the ability to reach customers remotely. The incumbent will support the Head of Marketing MEA to achieve the strategic objectives of the Marketing function as a whole and will act as a positive change agent for the desired company culture. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Creating and executing the company’s marketing communications strategy in conjunction with the Head of Marketing & Business Unit leaders by implementing plans to increase market share and meet strategic marketing objectives. + Creating and managing the company’s marketing communications budget and spend in-line with the strategy and with required approvals. + Collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders in the building and maintenance of consistent branding and corporate identity across all marketing and public relations channels. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Creative, Sales, IT, Product Marketing and Global Teams) to produce effective promotional materials in line with international brand positioning and guidelines. + Design, develop and maintain the company’s marketing collateral in collaboration with the business units. + Support the creating of the company’s transformative marketing strategies and implement the campaigns to drive increased market share and improve the transformative marketing database. + Establishing and maintaining the company’s electronic communications media platforms including managing the company’s websites, social media platforms, Google AdWords, Google Analytics and outbound e-mail solutions. + Management of the digital marketing strategy though the HubSpot inbound marketing tool. + Planning and executing the company’s approved events and trade shows with the following responsibilities relating to arranging of conferences, product launches, golf days, exhibitions etc. + Liaising with stakeholders to ascertain requirements, + Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g., timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets), agreeing to, and managing a budget, + Cost, Stakeholder, Scope, Communications, HSE, Schedule, Quality Management related to events ensuring on time delivery, within budget, that meets expectations. + Conducting of market research, market segmentation, Voice of the Customer and value selling activities to ensure that the brand meets expectations. + Support other BU’s in their activities around branding/company culture as required. + Develop internal communication messages in line with company’s branding. + Support in internal engagement activities and apply internal marketing mindset to promote a positive culture across the organisation. **DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY** The associate has the authorisation to work within the framework of the actual Delegation of Authorities (DOA). **POSITION RELATIONSHIPS** **Internal** + Company Leadership Team (all functions) + Company Functional Leaders (all functions) + Regional Marketing, Product and Digital Marketing teams + Global Marketing, Product and Digital Marketing teams **External** + Suppliers, Distributers and Contractors + Customers \#LI-DA1 **PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE** **Education/** **achievements** + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or related field + Postgraduate marketing studies is a plus. **Experience/** **Knowledge** + 7+ years of experience within a mid-to-large sized company responsible for setting and executing digital marketing strategies. + Global experience, particularly in high growth markets (HGM), preferred. + A combination of B2B (lead generation) and B2C (e-commerce) digital experience preferred. + Strong technical competence and functional knowledge, including: + Proven success driving results through the following digital marketing channels: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Search & Display, social media, and Email. + Data analysis skills – demonstrated ability to drive insights, opportunities and actions from complex data sets + Excellent communication abilities with all levels and roles in an organization. + Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. + Agency background is a plus. **Specific Skills** + English & Arabic (French is a plus) + HubSpot working knowledge (SFDC knowledge is a plus) + Must be self-starter with a high level of drive to achieve success + Must be able to work in a matrix environment and run multiple priority tasks in parallel.
