Position Responsibilities:
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operationsSolves routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures.Exhibits a strong commitment to growth, development and professionalism to drive learning and development for continuous improvement within the manufacturing teamWork independently to develop, modify, and document actions to assure problem resolution and/or to implement correction action and/or preventive actionEngages in ongoing learning to build and maintain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilitiesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read, understand, engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)Experience in a highly regulated environment where compliance is criticalPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 + year of experience working with specialized tools (e.g., electrical and mechanical wire crimpers and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files, multimeters)Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, and engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data)Ability to differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements. Participates in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology and processes to ensure that conformance and reproducibility requirements are metComplete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)Drug Free Workplace:
