Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

What you will do:

Own the accounting and reporting processes for a set of entities, ensuring accurate financial data in line with Stryker and US GAAP standards

Lead and support month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely completion and high-quality financial reporting

Coordinate and manage audit activities (internal and external), ensuring compliance and prompt resolution of audit findings

Ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts, reviewing reconciliations and driving corrective actions when needed

Act as a key point of escalation for accounting issues and provide resolution in collaboration with business partners

Drive continuous improvement, including implementation of standardization and simplification initiatives

Lead and develop a team, setting goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring ongoing professional development

Support and coordination of Financial Statement preparation

What you need:Required:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role in a multinational environment

Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Proven ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively across functions

Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred:

Familiarity with US GAAP

Understanding of internal controls, including SOX compliance

Experience in working with Oracle, Hyperion

Professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
