**What you will do:**
+ Own the accounting and reporting processes for a set of entities, ensuring accurate financial data in line with Stryker and US GAAP standards
+ Lead and support month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely completion and high-quality financial reporting
+ Coordinate and manage audit activities (internal and external), ensuring compliance and prompt resolution of audit findings
+ Ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts, reviewing reconciliations and driving corrective actions when needed
+ Act as a key point of escalation for accounting issues and provide resolution in collaboration with business partners
+ Drive continuous improvement, including implementation of standardization and simplification initiatives
+ Lead and develop a team, setting goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring ongoing professional development
+ Support and coordination of Financial Statement preparation
**What you need:**
**Required:**
+ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
+ Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role in a multinational environment
+ Fluency in English (written and verbal)
+ Proven ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively across functions
+ Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
**Preferred:**
+ Familiarity with US GAAP
+ Understanding of internal controls, including SOX compliance
+ Experience in working with Oracle, Hyperion
+ Professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
