Your new role
As Associate Manager for Line Filling Operations within Aseptic Manufacturing Bagsværd (AM BA), you will lead a team of 20 dedicated operators and 2 apprentices responsible for the stable operation of two conventional filling lines. This role offers the opportunity to gain deep insight into Novo Nordisk’s production processes, develop your leadership capabilities, and broaden your business understanding.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Leading and managing your team.
- Driving stable performance of the filling lines.
- Embedding LEAN principles in daily operations, including systematic problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Fostering a supportive working environment focused on employee well-being, empowerment, and professional development.
- Encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing across teams and departments to support operational success.
Your new department
You’ll be part of Aseptic Manufacturing Bagsværd (AM BA), an aseptic production facility with approximately 800 employees focused on producing diabetes and obesity products for markets and clinical trials.
The department, Line Filling Operations, encompasses approximately 160 employees, including operators on the filling lines and a maintenance team. The filling lines operate 24/7 with employees rotating across three shifts. You will join a supportive leadership team comprising eight leaders with diverse professional backgrounds. Together, the leadership team values trust, collaboration, and fun while setting ambitious goals for the department.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for an Associate Manager who thrives in dynamic production environments, adapts easily to changing priorities, and excels in leadership. You’ll bring with you:
- A background in Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar fields.
- Some years of management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in Danish and English.
- Familiarity with GxP-regulated production and the ability to work under stringent regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on finding sustainable solutions.
- A calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment and a constructive approach to challenges.
- The ability to inspire and empower your team through empathy, trust, and clear communication.
- A focus on collaboration and creating an empowering environment where all employees can thrive.
