Things You’ll Do 

\n\nOwn engineering roadmap for the product and work with stakeholders to build quarterly plans\nActively manage team of employees, gathering and providing candid feedback, mentoring and coaching individuals and delegating appropriately \nInstill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on timely schedules\nDrive planning meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers\nHelp us grow a Mexico site and global team of software engineers. Implement hiring plans and career development strategies for the engineering team\nGuide your team to develop scalable and robust SaaS and PaaS solutions products to solve complex business problems.\nWork directly with our global clients to provide solutions and a great customer experience.\n\n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\nManaged and coached software developers ranging in experience from graduate level up to seasoned professionals.\nYou are proactive and able to deliver on initiatives that you start; you get things done and have a proven record of doing so.\nExperience with data analytics applications\nExperience with modern web development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ruby on Rails)\nExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and D3\nExperience building, owning and operating highly scalable, highly available internet facing software services.\n2+ years of experience directly leading one engineering team\n5+ years of experience shipping web-based application features and code (preferably for a SaaS company)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.\n

\n\nThe Data tools team is currently 6 engineers and likely to grow to 8 engineers in 2025.\nThe Data tools team owns many applications which present data, and insights directly to customers. These include widgets in customer dashboards and full-on applications like Stats iQ. \nThe Data tools team is part of the Data and Insights group. This group is charted on delivering highly competitive insights to Qualtrics customers.\n\n
