Basic Function Responsible for leading and inspiring a high-performing team focused on maintaining and managing the Daily Production Schedule. This role is central to maintaining supply continuity for our customers, partnering closely with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Planning, and our commercial teams. This role will also play a key role in driving employee engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, and leveraging expertise in production schedules, to deliver impactful, cross-functional solutions that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, to effectively lead cross-functional initiatives and drive impactful supply chain solutions. Responsibilities + Drive the vision and strategic direction for the production scheduling team, aligning with site supply planning and commercial teams + Translate business goals into actionable plans that achieve target outcomes and improve operational efficiency. + Lead the discovery and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and benchmarking insights. + Oversee and optimize production schedules and workorder management to reduce backorder and improve on time delivery to our customers. + Champion cost-saving initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects + Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and performance goals. + Work cross functionally to ensure material availability meets production demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels. + Provide input on budget planning, including recommendations for capital expenditures, labor resources, and cost optimization. + Lead team engagement and execution of physical inventory processes, driving accuracy, accountability, and on-time results Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred + People leadership experience, demonstrating effective team management and operational execution in a business setting + Proficiency in lean principles, manufacturing production schedule optimization, and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., A3, 5 Whys, DMAIC) + Hands-on experience with MRP systems and familiarity with supply chain tools such as Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT), forecasting, inventory control, bills of material (BOM), and product lifecycle management + Excellent communication, strategic thinking, analytical and negotiation skills.
