Stryker is seeking to hire an Associate Manager, Product Development to support Stryker’s Joint Replacement division. This role is hybrid, located in Mahwah, New Jersey. **What You Will Do** Within our Joint Replacement division, the **Associate Manager, Product Development** will support our Hip Business Unit. You are responsible for projects that ensure business continuity on commercial products, improve value, and resolve any performance-related issues. You will provide technical guidance and direction to a team of R&D Engineers. This business-critical role requires close collaboration with Product Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Design Assurance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations to quickly and efficiently resolve post-launch technical issues that impact customer satisfaction, patient safety, and support growth and market expansion. + Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability + Support the team in utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings + Lead a team of R&D Engineers to execute technical projects on business continuity, value improvement, compliance, or emergent high-risk projects on commercialized products + Understand Change Management and work on Medical Device Design Control and Risk Management + Provide R&D support for capacity increase, continuous improvement, or cost reduction goals + Support your team as they design, develop, execute, and evaluate fitness-for-use testing, product specifications, and process validation plans **What You Need** **_Required:_** + Bachelor's Degree in a Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related field of study + 6+ years of experience in the medical device or a related industry + Demonstrated ability to apply design control within a regulated industry **_Recommended_** + Demonstrated ability to lead complex product development initiatives from concept through release + Demonstrated ability to apply a parametric CAD design package such as Pro E or equivalent + Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret GD&T + Demonstrated understanding of GMP’s and various manufacturing processes $100,500 - $215,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits.
