As an Associate Manager, Laboratory Operations, you will lead a team of laboratory professionals to ensure the efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of laboratory services in a regulated environment. **What you’ll be doing:** + Supervising daily operations of laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate testing. + Hiring, training, and managing performance of team members under the guidance of senior management. + Monitoring inventory and managing supply budgets to support uninterrupted lab operations. + Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all lab activities. + Leading process improvement initiatives and presenting outcomes to stakeholders. + Reviewing laboratory metrics and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency. + Supporting implementation of new tests, equipment, and procedures. + Acting as a backup for daily lab operations as needed. **What we are looking for:** + Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology. + Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment. + At least 4 years of experience in a relevant laboratory discipline. + Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. **The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:** + Strong understanding of laboratory operations, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance (e.g., CAP/CLIA). + Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor laboratory staff. + Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Knowledge of quality assurance/control principles, safety regulations, and process improvement methodologies. **What we offer you:** We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.
