Disney Advertising is seeking an Associate Manager to report into the Senior Manager, Entertainment Brand Solutions. The Associate Manager will be responsible for assisting the team’s advertiser solutions and project management for advertiser driven cross-platform brand solutions tied to Entertainment Specials across ABC, Hulu and Disney+, focusing on ABC Specials: Oscars, CMA Awards, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, and GRAMMYs. This role is based in New York, New York.
What You Will Do:
Participate in idea generation and help with creation of pitch materials (RFPs and proactive)
Participate in and contribute to idea generationAssist in creation of client-facing pitch materials that detail (customized and market-wide) sponsorship opportunitiesHelp manage approvals among key stakeholders (Management, Legal, BS&P, PR, Business Affairs, studios, producers, etc.)Update all internal opportunity trackers and documents for teamHelp manage approvals among key stakeholders (Management, Revenue Yield Management, Legal, BS&P, PR, Business Affairs, studios, producers, etc.)Assist in management of the activation process: timelines, trackers, approvals, production shoots, post-production, etc. May include:
Assist in all project related correspondence including legal agreements and project management documentsCoordinate and manage client and internal approvalsSupport on-set shootsManage budgets and billingResponsible for digitizing and uploading all branded contentRecap deals and case studies inclusive of researchHelp with sweepstakes managementMonitor and ensure project elements are delivering across all platformsServe as key contributor to the Specials, Entertainment Solutions team who serve as experts across ABC. Including but not limited to,
Knowledge of show IP and processesGather information and updates from key parties related to each Special (i.e., producing partners, internal ABC stakeholders) to ensure team members have the latest information.Maintaining show and department related documentation: budget management, department status reports, revenue and pitch trackers, case studies, research, competitive analysis, etc.Build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Legal, BS&P, Programming, PR, Sales, Creative, etc.) and serve as resource for Specials Programming related projects.Support the revenue performance around Specials Programming to maximize partnership opportunities and revenue.
Assist team members on the development and execution of cross-platform (linear, digital, social etc.) deals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of marketing, sponsorship, promotion, branded entertainment and/or media at a network, cable, promotional/media agency or entertainment studio.Strong interpersonal skills (especially in high stress environments) and professional presenceExcellent written and verbal communication skills. The hiring range for this position in New York is $89,900 to $120,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
