We’re looking for an **Associate Manager, Costing** to lead contract manufacturing initiatives and support strategic sourcing through cost analysis, supplier oversight, and operational excellence. **What You’ll Do** You will: + Oversee staff and support the operations of contract suppliers, including technical issues, quotations, vendor selection and evaluation, schedule conflicts, and quality concerns. + Supervise site visits to contract manufacturing facilities to observe production and testing of VF products and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs). + Act as a liaison between VF and third-party manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met and products are delivered on time. + Provide contractors with the necessary information to meet compliance and quality expectations. + Identify and evaluate potential new contractors, including financial stability assessments. + Coordinate the development of contractor documentation and manuals. + Respond to cost and feasibility requests and obtain vendor quotations. **What You Bring** + Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.(Equivalent experience may be considered based on the role and hiring criteria.) + Typically 6+ years of progressive experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Experience in a process-driven, technical environment. **Your Skills & Expertise** + Developing depth in multiple technical areas and progressing toward discipline expertise. + Applies and adapts standardized procedures and methods as needed. + Understands VF’s policies, practices, and procedures and applies them effectively. **Problem Solving & Decision Making** + Resolves varied and non-routine issues using prior experience and analysis. + Undertakes investigations to solve related problems and improve existing approaches. + Exercises sound judgment in selecting the most appropriate solutions. **Collaboration & Communication** + Communicates with both technical and non-technical audiences, occasionally requiring persuasion. + Initiates contact to resolve mutual problems or collaborate on procedures. + Objectively reviews and explains complex work issues to gain cooperation or approval. **Your Impact** + Contributes to short-term team performance and occasionally to medium-term goals. + Supports goal achievement through personal effort and influence on others. + Plans and adjusts own work and team efforts to meet monthly targets. **Accountability** + Accountable for meeting short-term targets that impact the immediate work area. + Manages costs related to own work and team activities. + Responsible for people management, including performance reviews, training, and resource planning.
