Job Description

What is the opportunity?​

You are an associate within the Collections team acting to deliver an exceptional client experience by offering advice & solutions during their time of need. You champion the RCAP Leasing brand and provide support to our clients as through the management of delinquent and challenging accounts.

What will you do?

Focus on helping clients when they need us most, by responding empathetically to a variety of questions, offering and resolving client financial concernsContact customers to collect total arrears including past due rental payments, interest, and feesResolve problems at first point of contact in a friendly and helpful manner, and maintain relationships with partnersNegotiate payment plans to reduce loss from a delinquent accountWork with clients, vendors, and asset remarketing companies to recover equipmentInitiate activities (i.e. sending letters, equipment recovery, assigning of bailiff’s) on accounts that are deemed ‘uncollectable’ in order to mitigate our lossPrepare receivership and/or bankruptcy documentation as required and initiate contact with Trustee for release of secured equipmentAnalyze accounts to determine high priority accounts to be given immediate attention

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Proven interpersonal, communication and problem resolution skillsProven ability to build rapport while offering the right solutions for our clients while mitigating riskDesire to build exceptional client experiences, and is passionate and curious to help clients meet their needs and solve their concernsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to speak and write in French

Nice to have:

Past experience in a customer service role where you provided a variety of needs based solutionsPast experience in the equipment leasing industry
