What you will do...

Editorial Strategy & StorytellingDevelop and manage a proactive editorial calendar aligned with brand priorities.Draft compelling press materials including press releases, media alerts, Q&As, and talking points.Relationship BuildingCultivate strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, influencers, and content creators.Newsroom & Content ManagementOversee the brand’s newsroom, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand-aligned content.Measurement & MonitoringTrack and report on media coverage and newsroom engagement using tools like Cision, Muck Rack, or Meltwater.Trend Monitoring & Opportunity SpottingMonitor cultural moments and media trends to identify timely PR opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape stories that resonate with media and consumers.Media Engagement & Event SupportRespond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews, statements, and product information.Support media training for executives and assist with PR activations and events.Brand StewardshipMonitor media coverage and industry trends to protect brand reputation.Evaluate earned media opportunities and associated risks.

Who you will work with...

Internal PR and brand teams.Journalists, influencers, and media professionals.Cross-functional partners across marketing, communications, and brand strategy.Executives and spokespeople during media engagements and training.

What you will bring to the table... (Required Skills)

3+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.Proven success in media pitching and securing placements with limited agency support.Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent storytelling ability.Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.Familiarity with PR tools and media databases (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater).Proactive, collaborative mindset and passion for brand storytelling.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

It would be nice if you have... (Preferred Skills)

Experience supporting brand activations and event-based storytelling.A strong sense of cultural fluency and trend awareness.Hands-on experience managing a brand newsroom or similar content hub.

 

 

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$85,800-$123,400

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
