Position Overview:
Insulet is seeking a self-motivated Associate Software Engineer to join tour team. This individual is responsible for contributions to Software projects for the Company. This person is expected to be responsible for well-designed and well tested code, and to apply creative solutions to problems.
The Position will report to the Data Cloud Org.
Responsibilities:
Develops in Java, tests and documents Cloud AWS software for new and existing Insulet products.Works closely with other software, software QA, and hardware engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems.Learn and follow Insulet Design Assurance SOPsProvide timely support to team customersEducation and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.1+ year’s software engineering experience.Demonstrated work experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies.Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Understanding of Cloud architectural patterns and designExperience building SpringBoot microservicesExperience with document and file databases, e.g. MongoDBExperience working as Java developerUnderstanding of software development principles and patterns, e.g. TDD, SOLID, Gang of FourExperience with Git or similar version control solutionOccasional business travel within USPhysical Requirements (if applicable):
