Associate IT Business Analyst

As an Associate IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible to liaise between business users and technical solution provider to ensure that requirements are well addressed and applicable technical solution implemented with final solution meets business objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

Work closely with business units and IT team to provide system application solutions to address business needs.

Elicit business requirements with end users.

Analyze, organize and translate user requirements in proper documentation to facilitate system development and testing.

Assist supervisor in preparing requirements presentation, review and approval sessions.

Manage and monitor the testing activities, user acceptance tests to ensure enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications and in good quality delivery.

Monitor work progress and identify possible deviations of project schedule and assist supervisor in formulating solutions for contingency.

Handle user enquiries and production issues

Prepare training materials and conduct user training

Required Qualifications:  

Degree holder in information systems, business administration or related subjects

2 years+ of experience in delivering web and app projects supporting insurance distribution channels and services

Working with Agile practices and associated skills including user story writing

Well organized and attentive to details, flexible with working hours

Good analytical and problem solving skills, and disciplined with project scheduling.

Self-initiated and have a strong drive to learn, responsible and willing to expose to new technology.

Able to clearly express business processes and ideas verbally in English, Cantonese & Putonghua and written in English and Chinese

Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing (Advanced knowledge of EXCEL preferred)

Able to present confidently to groups of audience
