We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Instructor (Ethnic Studies). Mt. San Jacinto Community College District accepts Associate Faculty (Part-time) Faculty applications on an on-going basis for all disciplines. Applications which meet the required minimum qualifications are kept on file in an electronic format for six (6) months from the date the District verifies the applicant's qualifications. Various deans and/or department chairs will have access to these applications and as needs arise throughout the District they will contact those applicants they are interested in interviewing for positions they anticipate will become available.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1) A Master's degree in African American Studies, Black Studies, Africana Studies, Latino Studies, La Raza Studies, Chicana/o Studies, Asian American Studies, Native American Studies, or American Indian Studies; OR 2) A Master's degree in Ethnic Studies; OR 3) The Equivalent; AND 4) Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph***
