Job Title: Associate - Data Engineering

Position Overview: UST is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team as an Associate III - Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL or SQL Server. In this role, you will be responsible for both data orchestration and data transformation, working with Azure tools to create efficient and scalable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
•
Use ADF for job orchestration and Databricks for handling data transformations.
•
Ensure smooth integration and transformation of data from various sources into the data platform.
•
Work with Azure SQL or SQL Server to manage and query large datasets efficiently.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data engineering solutions.
•
Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and data accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
•
3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
•
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for job orchestration.
•
Extensive experience working with Databricks for data transformations.
•
Strong expertise in Azure SQL or SQL Server with advanced query writing and optimization skills.
•
Proven experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines in cloud environments.
