EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or a related field.  Continuous learning, as defined by the Company’s learning philosophy, is required. 

EXPERIENCE:

Five (5) to seven (7) years experience gathering requirements to define complex data mappings and transformations.  Healthcare background in a managed care environment required, including experience in Case Management and Utilization Management.  

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:

·       Knowledge of healthcare, specifically Case Management and Utilization Management processes.

·       Collaborative, positive attitude.

·       Able to work independently, taking initiative to learn and find new work.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

·       Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well within a group required.

·       Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients required.

·       Ability to handle multiple projects and implementation timeframes required.

·       Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to proactively take a problem or project from analysis to solution to followup/resolution.

·       Proficient with Excel as a tool to solve problems, analyze data, create ad hoc reports and test.

·       Proficient in prioritizing, multi-tasking and managing multiple projects.

·       Flexible and can adapt to change.
