Associate II, Warehouse Operations - Part-time 2nd shift

Anticipated hourly range: $19.10 per hour - $22.60 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Monday-Thursday 4pm-9:30pm

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local authorities; adherence to cGMP guidelinesApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned areaMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, and sorting.Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements. Performs other duties and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred1 - 2 years related experience preferredRadiofrequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferredAbility to consistently lift 80 Ibs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more requiredComfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularlyAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shiftMust be able to work overtime with little to no advance noticeWillingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouseWillingness to work in refer 36F-42F for up to 8 Hours or longer
