Software Testing Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced software testing engineer to join our digit health team, focusing on designing, creating, and deploying effective test automation solutions for cutting-edge medical device software. As part of our talented team, you will contribute to the development of cloud-based Digital Health Solutions (DHS) that enhance the efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy of eye care professionals.

Responsibilities:
•    Design, create, and deploy test automation solutions for software applications.
•    Own and refine the functionality testing process across software teams.
•    Collaborate with software/product teams on end-to-end verification automation and component-level automation.
•    Guide and coach team members on test automation practices and scope.
•    Provide testing perspective input to product teams, ensuring testable acceptance criteria.
•    Define the technology stack for automated tests with solution architects.
•    Advise on common asset usage, including test case and automation script libraries.
•    Continuously seek improvements in solving technical problems and designing solutions.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in software engineering and 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent 
•    Medical device experience is a plus
•    Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) and relevant frameworks (BDD, AWS Lambda, NodeJS).
•    Experience with automation test tools (Jasmine, Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber, K6, Postman).
•    Knowledge in developing End-to-End or Integration tests and test-oriented development.
•    Skilled in managing test data sets, SQL, and using source control (Git).
•    Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with product teams.
