To fuel our growth, Acrisure is looking to supplement its team with a new opportunity for a Surplus Lines Associate in its Regulatory Affairs Department who possesses a passion for customer service, strong computer skills, and an eye for detail. This role will provide comprehensive support to employees, leaders and agency partners with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness.
Responsibilities:

Initiates tax compliance submissions as assigned by senior team member
Verifies the applicability and accuracy of all tax compliance documents received and filed
Maintains day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely fashion at the direction of the team
Maintains confidences and protects operations by maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with all sensitive information and assigned tasks
Remains informed of multi-state tax requirements
Execute and utilize tax reports as needed
Possesses the ability to interpret and apply best practice to meet unique business needs
Maintains current knowledge of team responsibilities and is cognizant of the team’s function by supporting the success of the team through effective and accurate administrative assistance
Resolves limited and non-routine problems as required
Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher is preferred, but equitable work experience will be accepted
Enrollment in a degree program in pursuit of an associate’s degree (or higher) will be considered, but only if in one of the following (or comparable) fields: accounting, business administration or general business, insurance, or legal studies
Accounting experience is preferred, but not required
Audit experience is preferred, but not required
At least one year in a customer service role and/or administrative role is required
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required
Other Qualifications:
Must possess strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office and, specifically, Excel
Must be able to work independently after given instructions and guidance and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
Must have a high level of problem-solving capacity
Must be self-motivated and driven
Must communicate effectively – both in writing and orally
Must be willing and able to work overtime, particularly between September and December
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
