As an Associate Global Professional, you will be responsible for reviewing service ticket documentation to identify potential reportable events—situations where an Abbott device may impact the health or safety of the user or the patient being tested. These may include incidents such as specific device-related failures, user injuries, or incorrect patient test results that could affect patient treatment. **What You’ll Work On** Using Abbott’s ticket documentation procedures, you will assess whether: The ticket meets the definition of a potential reportable event, or the documentation lacks sufficient detail to decide. Based on your assessment, you will follow up with the ticket owner to ensure the documentation is updated and any identified issues are corrected. Due to global regulatory requirements, reportable events must be identified and reported within a strict timeframe. This role requires you to make accurate and timely decisions for each ticket. Responsibilities: + Review service tickets with limited supervision, applying subject matter knowledge and procedural guidelines to evaluate potential reportable events. + Communicate effectively with the Abbott field team to obtain missing or clarifying information when ticket documentation is incomplete. + Ensure decisions are made with a high level of accuracy and timeliness to comply with regulatory standards. + Read and analyze ticket content and correspond with ticket owners via email to resolve documentation gaps. **Required Qualifications** + Associate degree with at least 2 years of experience in a medical laboratory environment, field service, clinical experience, or diagnostic product experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (preferred) or be licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). + Two (2) or more years ofexperience working in a clinical laboratory and reviewing testing results is recommended. + Experience working with in-vitro diagnostic instruments and the associated clinical tests, specifically in the areas of clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and hematology.
