Roles and Responsibilities: -
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Lead safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety Investigate accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions and develop strategies to prevent recurrence Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of operations Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management Prepare and present reports on safety performance to senior management Mentor and coach safety officers to enhance their skills and performance Oversee emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparednessTechnical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the Power/Energy industry - Experience in developing and implementing safety management systems - Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations - Familiarity with emergency response planning and execution

Education Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering - Post Graduate qualification in Health & Safety
Experience: - 20-25 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry - Proven track record in leading safety initiatives and programs.
Certification required: - Relevant certifications in Health & Safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)
